Opening Reception:
Saturday, February 28, 4 to 6 pm     

Jessica Jane works in a range of modes and materials, making drawings, paintings and objects that address landscape and abstraction, the materiality of paint and the challenges of figuration.

Jessica Jane lives and works in Litchfield. She has a studio in Bantam where she also exhibits the work of her peers. She blogs on contemporary art in; she curates independent art shows locally; and she writes about art and design.

March 7th

UCC in Cornwall
The Church School children are putting on a benefit Pasta Dinner (we call it the Pasta Bonanza) on Saturday, March 7, serving from 5 - 7. Free will donations. 100% of money raised will be used to purchase a fresh water well for a needy community somewhere in the world. The goal is to raise $1000.

Jonathan Landman and Henry Blodget

Join us for a discussion of the future of media and communications by two people who should know:  Jonathan Landman, editor-at-large at Bloomberg News’ Bloomberg View section, and Henry Blodget, co-founder, CEO and editor-in-chief of Business Insider, a business and tech news site, and host of Yahoo’s Daily Ticker video show.

To make it easy for young parents to attend, the Library is planning supervised activities to entertain children during the event.

There is no charge for admission.


March 28 WINTER WINE TASTING to benefit the Pine Ridge Reservation Work Trip, sponsored by the UCC.  March 28, 5:30-7:00 at the Sunset Meadows Vineyard on Rt. 63 in Goshen (599 Old Middle Street).  Cost for wine and hors d'oeuvres is $25 in advance, $30 at door.  Be a sponsor for $30 a person and receive basket raffle tickets and a complimentary wine glass.  Reserve your ticket at or call 860-672-6840.  Soda and seltzer also available.  Get out of the cold and into a warm space and meet friends - all for a good cause!
