Upcoming Cornwall 275 Celebrations
On August 9. The Souterrain Gallery in honor of the 275 year anniversary of Cornwall and in collaboration with the HVA River Fest will be hosting Paint the Town a day long event inviting artists of all ages , varying artistic background to paint or recreate scenery of the Cornwalls in any media to be then dropped of by 2pm at the Souterrain Gallery . An Artists reception will be held from 4-6 pm. The spontaneous exhibit will then remain on display through September. For info please contact Bianca at 860 672 2969.

Based in NYC, the ensemble includes four highly acclaimed artists that perform all original works by group member and composer Jeff Adler. The compositions can best be described as "Classical with a Jazz/ World Music sensibility." The wide and varied instrumentation includes the innovative use of Native American Flutes along with Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, World Percussion and Keyboard. The works often feature themes from Jewish Spirituality, Racial and Religious Tolerance and Environmental Sustainability. Hevreh performances have been called" strikingly original" and "spiritually uplifting".
Most recently, the ensemble performed for the Newport Chamber Music Festival in Rhode Island and presented a tour to The Netherlands and Germany in October 2015. The ensemble has performed widely throughout North America and has also presented concerts in Germany, The Czech Republic and Poland.
