Mission Statement: The Cornwall Conservation Trust’s mission is to accept or acquire properties and conservation rights; to manage these holdings in ways that promote farming, forest improvement, water quality, wildlife habitats, recreation and open space, thus assuring that Cornwall’s unique rural and historic character will survive; to work in cooperation with the Town’s land use commissions and various citizens’ groups to advance constructive growth; to educate the people of Cornwall on land use, and to provide them with a means of participating in the conservation of the community’s assets.

The Cornwall Endowment fund is managed by the Berkshire Taconic Foundation. It's income is used by the selectmen for special town projects that are not in the annual budget. Contact the First Selectman, 672 4959 for information or to discuss a gift.
