MINUTES OF A STRATEGY SESSION ON UPDATING

THE TOWN PLAN HELD ON JANUARY 21, 2006.

A Special Meeting of the Cornwall Planning and Zoning Commission was held at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 21, 2006, at the Cornwall Consolidated School. Present were: Chairman Anne Kosciusko, presiding ; members Lynn Cheney, Patrick Hare, Chris Hopkins, Richard Lynn and alternates, James LaPorta and Emilie Pryor. No alternates were needed at the outset of the meeting.

Planning and Zoning Commission Chairman Annie Kosciusko welcomed everyone and made introductory remarks.

Speakers Tom McGowan, Glenn Chalder (Planimetrics) and Richard Harrall (Harrall-Michalowski Associates) each presented alternate approaches to Town Plan preparations. The speakers then responded to questions from Planning and Zoning Commission members and the audience. There were breaks between the speakers for informal community discussion.

No action was taken.

Annie Kosciusko thanked everyone for coming and explained that the next steps in the process will be requests for proposals and then interviews.
