SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CORNWALL BOARD OF SELECTMEN

Thursday, May 27, 2004

9:30 a.m. – Hughes Memorial Library, West Cornwall

PRESENT: First Selectman Gordon Ridgway, Selectman K.C. Baird, Selectman Ken Keskinen, six Hughes Memorial Library representatives

First Selectman Ridgway called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.

The Board and the library representatives discussed future plans for the Hughes Memorial Library. They discussed the CL&P abutting land to the library and its possible sale. They discussed the possibility of applying for a STEAP grant for the purchase of the CL&P property and to upgrade the library.

There will be further discussion at the next regular Board of Selectmen meeting.

Meeting adjourned 10:30 a.m.
