MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE

CORNWALL BOARD OF SELECTMEN

4:00 p.m. - Town Hall

PRESENT: First Selectman Gordon Ridgway, Selectman K.C. Baird, Selectman Richard Bramley, Park and Recreation Chairman Ron Laigle, Jr

First Selectman Ridgway called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

The purpose of the emergency meeting of the Cornwall Board of Selectmen is to take action to protect town property, assets, funds, building and equipment.

First Selectman Ridgway and Mr. Laigle updated the Board on events of the last week.

The Board and Mr. Laigle reviewed the Park and Recreation Director’s job performance.

Selectman Bramley made the motion to immediately suspend Park and Recreation Director Bethany Thompson without pay until further notice due to poor job performance. Selectman Baird seconded. There was discussion. The motion passed unanimously.

This motion will be sent to Mrs. Thompson by e mail.

Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
