MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE
CORNWALL BOARD OF SELECTMEN

10:45 a.m. - Town Hall

PRESENT: First Selectman Gordon Ridgway, Selectman Richard Bramley, Selectman Kenneth C. Baird, AFSCME Union Representative Tim Oppenheimer, Highway Crew Member Jack Malahan.

First Selectman Ridgway called the meeting to order.

The Board discussed and reviewed the highway contract and discussed wages in the area towns.

First Selectman Ridgway made the motion to go into executive session for Highway Negotiations with AFSCME union rep Tim Oppenheimer and Jack Malahan. Selectman Bramley seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

The Board went into executive session at 11:10 a.m.

The Board came out of executive session at 11:40 a.m.

First Selectman Ridgway made the motion to agree on a 2% wage increase and the insurance plan contribution to stay the same for the 2011-2012 Fiscal Year. Selectman Bramley seconded. Motion passed unanimously.

The agreement will be filed with the highway contract in the union file.

Meeting adjourned at 11:42 a.m.
