Minutes of the Special Meeting of July 21, 2010

Present: Gordon Ridgway, first Selectman; K.C. Baird and Richard Bramley, selectmen.

The approval of minutes was tabled.

There were no additions to the agenda.

Communications: Katy Freygang sent a note to the Selectmen urging them to visit a special exhibit about energy conservation at the Library.

Cell Tower Review: The selectmen talked over the events and discussions at the July 20, 2010 public hearing (also a regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen). A decision was made to discuss certain matters with State Senator Andrew Roraback.

STEAP grant: The application has been sent in for round two of a STEAP grant for the façade program.

Summer Projects: Work on Great Hill has been postponed for the moment. Tree works and patching is underway to prepare the roads for oiling. First Selectman Ridgway has been meeting weekly with Highway Foreman Rick Stone to discuss costs.

Bill payment: Bills signed in the usual manner.
