CEFT Minutes March 3, 2008, 9-10:30am

Opening Message: We have been getting some good publicity and John has been working on the tally of our numbers. We need to gear up for the solar panel installation and plan a few events.

In Attendance: John and Anne Zinsser, Katherine Freygang, Debbie Bennett, Gordon Ridgway.

Old Business:

• Smart Power Campaign:

John has been working on the master list and wants to re-institute a phoning campaign.

He wants to derive some “Wowwee Statistics”

Gordon will contact Bob Wall to get an installation workshop date

The Grant reports were submitted for January 31 deadline.

• Publicity and Outreach:

Nora, Anne and Katie have submitted articles

The Lakeville Journal has requested a regular column.

We have library programs and display in the works

Are there ways we can work with the Sierra Club?

Added publicity is needed for the Liddell presentation. Debbie will call WKZE and Anne will call Laurel Touhey of LCT.

• Education Report:

Anne says there is no report as of yet.

• Footprint Report:

Debbie says she is working with the DEP< ICLIC, Gordon and Bob Axelrod on an audit.

• Transportation Effort:

“Ride with a friend and use half the gas” will be our motto. More later.

New Business:

• New Members: Joanie Hinchman, Lisa Lansing and Celia Senzer will help with audits.

• Things on hold: NW Corner Green Team, Website, Dump and Ski Lodge focus.
