PLAN OF CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP MEETING/SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING(S)

Sub-Committees, (with designated P&Z co-chairmen) to break-out and re-convene in assigned rooms as listed:


Cultural and Community Resources; Town offices -Pine Street, (rear)

Co-chairs Lynn Cheney and Emilie Pryor

Discussion of churches, cemeteries, and organizing the subcommitee’s section of the plan.


Economic Development: Town offices, Pine Street (First Selectman’s Office)

Co-chairs/members Anne Kosciusko, Jim LaPorta and Heidi Kearns

Discussion of the Cornwall Bridge forum, planning for a West Cornwall Bridge forum and discussion of the subcommitte’s section of the plan.


Natural Resources: Town Hall meeting room - Pine Street (front)

Co-chairs David Colbert and Rick Lynn.

Among the topics to be discussed will be “List Conservation and Preservation Priorities”, the subcommittee’s “Working Draft Outline”, and a review of the 1975 NWRPA "Conservation and Preservation Study". Greenprint maps may be available to view or discuss obtaining them to use as aids in the subcommittes’ planning. Discussion of the "Schedule of Committee activities", so that the subcommittee can talk about who should be doing what and by when.


Housing: Cornwall Free Library

Co-chairs Patrick Hare and Chris Hopkins

7:30 Presentation on Community Viz (computer generated videos of how development will look). Glenn Chalder will show examples of how CommunityViz was used in New Hartford. 8:30 Focus group on who TDRs might work in Cornwall Village with some village residents. At end: Update on drafts on affordable housing and accessory apartments.
